The TSI-9010 Slip Meter is designed to measure the slip resistance of leather, rubber and neolite on various floor surfaces. The TSI-9010 is a modified version of the Horizontal Pull Slip Meter, developed by Charles Irvine of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. We supply this meter to Liberty Mutual for use by their field agents. While the principles of the TSI-9010 and the meter supplied to Liberty Mutual are the same and the test results yield approximately the same results, the TSI-9010 uses a less expensive sled and gauge, thereby permitting us to sell it at a much lower price.

WHY DO YOU NEED A SLIP METER?

In order to protect yourself, your employees and your customers from harmful slip-fall accidents and costly litigation, you must provide safe walkways. Often times, when a surface becomes wet it becomes slippery. A sign, warning of a slippery surface, is not the solution to the problem. It only indicates that you are aware of the problem, but have not attempted to solve it.
